#5 – An iconic Frank Butler/Catalina Yachts Inc masthead sloop rig Catalina 30. Fin keel with spade rudder. “Slip Away”, she is a shoal draft and has the desirable dinette layout. LOA = 29.92 ft, LWL = 25 ft, beam = 10.83 ft, displacement = 10,200 lbs., draws 5.25 ft of water. HIN = CTYN2028M80K. Inboard 30 HP carbureted 4 stroke, 4 - cylinder, gas Universal Atomic 4 engine. Single 0.090 welded aluminum 20 - gallon gas tank. Burns less than one gallon per hour, one full tank lasts more than 1 season! Raw water cooling and straight drive transmission. Stainless steel shaft with bronze fixed blade propeller (12 inch by 7 inch). Engine serial number = 283723B/F. Owner performed preventive maintenance in 2013 and had carburetor rebuilt. Engine has an estimated 750 hours to 900 hours of operation and runs very well. Engine upgraded with electronic ignition in 2009. Engine serviced annually. See attached PDF for more details.
