Philip Gableman Elected President and Awarded 2019 Auctioneer of the Year to NYS Auctioneers Association

We are pleased to congratulate our own Philip Gableman for being awarded the Auctioneer of the Year and for being elected President of the New York State Auctioneers Association (NYSAA) February 2nd in Albany, NY.

Phil, 30, is also the youngest person to be elected as President of the NYS Auctioneers Association. Auctioneers from across the state convened at the beginning of February in Albany for their annual convention. Throughout the conference, Auctioneers were presented with dynamic and engaging educational seminars from industry leading Auctioneers and presenters. Phil recently states, “One of the best feelings in the world is being able to give back. I love the auction industry and all the clients, customers and colleagues we get to help every day.”

In addition Phil has been appointed as the youngest member ever to the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) Education Institute Trustees. In this three-year role, Phil will work with other auctioneers on the NAA Speakers Bureau selecting speakers, moderating discussions, organizing speaking events and facilitating the education resources and tools necessary to advance the auction professional and the industry. In addition, the NAA connects speakers with state auctioneers associations to speak at their annual meeting or conferences.
