#56 – Straight razor. Kropp. "Ground in Hamburg." Fantastic mother of pearl handle having ornate metal ends including a Roman Helmet on the head end and a Gold inlaid escutcheon shield on both sides. Note early repair pins. Handle is complete and tight. This appears to be an early 1800 rare handle with a later German blade. Still, a stunning piece.

#57 – Straight razor. Wostenholm. C-1825. The absolutely massive wedge blade is etched "Refined Steel" across the front. Top f blade etched "Magnum Bonam." Thin genuine ivory scales. Note damage most likely caused by having this massive blade attached to such a fragile handle material. The blade acting as a large wedge simply separated the handle at some time in its history. The two small German silver repair pins are period.
