The book enthralled Picasso so he subsequently created the artwork. This offering is an authenticated print as shown in the photos titled “La Celestine” by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) from his illustrative series of miniature etchings, of which 66 were produced to illustrate the character of a novel published by Fernando De Rojas in 1499. It is possibly a restrike or from a reconstructed plate. It is matted and framed beautifully.
