Antique mid 19th century ball and cap single shot pistol with octagonal barrel and a folding bayonet. Pistol is 9" overall. Bayonet is 3.5"L. Caliber is unknown. Interior barrel width is approx. 3/8"W. Part of the hammer is broken off and missing. Ha no maker name, but there is a brass shield shape medallion on the pistol grip.
