Artist used puff paints to paint on a unique denim canvas, Levi's jean jacket, red tab label, one owner, originally commissioned by Assist. Marketing Manager at Levi Strauss and Co in San Francisco, artist unknown. Levi Western wear Levis for Cowboys jean jacket, part of the sponsored cowboy team for brand 557, embroidered with logo on back and front, 70506 0216 Size 40 Regular, dark blue denim. Levi Strauss Framed Poster, this framed print has a story, legacy, and social power; In the late 1980's Levi Strauss & Co. engaged a number of fashion designers to participate in a Customize Your Levi's jean jacket silent auction event to raise money for AIDS victim support, each designer was given a Levi's jean jacket and told to decorate it anyway they wanted. Designers such as Donna Karan, Kenneth Cole, Karl Lagerfeld, Carolos Falchi, Victor Costa, Bob Mackie, Bill Blass took up the challenge. They submitted their jean jacket designs to LS&Co. All jackets were modeled in a runway fashion show - an event that raised big bucks in NYC. Four of the best jackets were photographed and turned into a poster (quad collage)which is nicely framed in a light copper frame behind glass. Some fading on the poster, 51" x 20". Levi Strauss denim covered two-sided folder, customized with puffed paints by LS&Co Marketing Manager, Kathy McAfee in the late 1980's. Levi Straus mug personalized Kathy. Shaman's Medicine Mask, ceramic with feathers, numbered, signed and dated by American artist RW Adamson. Pair of charming hand made ceramic mugs with wolves for handles, signed and numbered.
