Straight razor. Antoni Tadross made in Germany. The blade is etched "Hollow Ground Antoni Tadross". The pile side is stamped 3097. Rounded red celluloid handle has raised pattern banner wrapped around pins with raised flowers, stems and leaves. The pattern is on both sides. I have witnessed this pattern on Antoni Tadross, Crown & Sword and Asco Cutlery blades. Note the similarity of the background scrolling banner to #108. Quite scarce. Pattern # 113 in the "Celluloid Handle Guide for Straight Razor Collectors" by Robert A. Doyle. Illustrated in a photo in the Introduction to the book P7.

Straight razor. Moshy & Rahaim made in Germany. The blade is etched "Czar Russia". The pile side is stamped 745. Rounded multi colored celluloid handle has raised pattern banner wrapped around pins with raised flowers, stems and leaves. The pattern is on both sides. I have witnessed this pattern on Antoni Tadross, Crown & Sword and Asco Cutlery blades. Note the similarity of the background scrolling banner to #108. Quite scarce. Imitation ivory with raised horse head, horseshoe and crossed riding crops in area that appears to be folded away at center. Stripes at either end of both sides. Pile side has raised floral pattern as well. A popular handle pattern. Four of this pattern have been found attached to Challenge Cutlery Co. blades. Other makers include: Manhattan Razor, North American, Philadelphia Cutler, L.G.A. Hdwe Omaha and Goddard Hdwe. This pattern is found in different colors.
