Five Lladro items incl four seasonal bells incl "Winter Bell" No.17616, "Fall Bell" No.17615, "Spring Bell" No.7613, "Summer Bell" No. 7614, also incl desk clock "Reloj Bosque" No.5.652, all with original boxes, largest being 3"T. Lladro started as a small company based in Spain in 1953 that specializes in fine handmade porcelains. Sculptors start with finding their inspiration and designing it in clay which is then examined and approved by the Creativity Committee. The figure is then exactly replicated in a fine porcelain. Once produced the product is hand sculpted, carved, and painted then sent to final firing, where the porcelain vitrifies and the varnish crystallizes. Today the company continues to expand as it brings on new artists from around the world to impart a new take on the original designs.
