Robert Kitchen is known for Portrait, still life, landscape painting, abstraction. He studied at Tyler School of Art and received awards including the Prix de Rome. In 1970 Robert came to New York and participated in a group show of drawing at the Museum of Modern Art. His resume lists some famous galleries such as the Deitch Project Gallery Soho which is the last showing before he passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2009 at the age of 60. His paintings are a fusion of contemporary imagery painted in all of the historical genres of portraiture, historical portraiture, still life, street-scape and pure abstraction.
