Pieces of 19th century wood crate used as frame backing, This reads, "Brady & Chade?, Stamford, Connecticut. Handle with Care." Appears to be a print but not inspected out of frame. Bader was a well listed, sold, and galleried artist throughout most of Europe through the mid 1970s. Extraordinary and smaller example of his work. Many of Baders pieces are over 5 feet.
