Fantastic Sterling Silver shaving set fitted in embossed, colored material covered case. All matching fancy embossed silver pattern pieces made by Wade & Butcher Sheffield. The razor has the top of blade engraved CELEBRATED HOLLOW GROUND RAZOR. The tang is covered in imitation ivory. Collapsible shaving brush and powder box all fitted in this presentation case. I have never seen another like this.

Cased “J. Wigfall & Co. Patent Pocket Razor” fitted with a very rare folding straight razor having black horn handle and etched blade. The only one that I have ever seen.

Rare double bladed French Razor with decorated and colored whalebone handle with iron pin covers. This double bladed pattern always has a shaped whalebone handle. I believe that they were connected with the military, most likely “Navy” as the few examples that I encountered have themes of anchors & rope on the blades, military figures carved and sometimes colored into the bone handles. Claude Rondeau’s Collection ha the most I have ever seen in one place. They were all sold in the last auction session. I have had a few over the past 50 years in my own collection. Perhaps, they were made for the French market by the cutlers of Sheffield? If you have not had the opportunity to obtain one of these rarities, this is a colorful example.

Very rare fully carved and shaped, figural, folding, to-part horn decorative work of art to resemble a straight razor. I have never seen another like this. It appears to be an early 19thC Chinese art piece. Very intricate and rare.

Very rare cased French one Handled, four blades set. C-1820. Tortoiseshell handle with unique locking device is etched “CARDEILHAC.” The wood case is brass bound and has a brass escutcheon plate in the lid. Two of the blades missing tang extensions.

Very rare Blackamoor/Black Americana historical ephemera item. Henry Sears & Co. advertising folding brochure with derogatory depiction and poem regarding early African-American. Dimensions when closed 3"x4", when opened 6"x4". This is the only one of these I have seen. The back cover has graphics showing the tang of the razor goosing the Queen. Appears to be a marketing piece meant to be humorous on the 19thC.
